What changes the price

Materials, and why
Grab bars are stainless steel rated for real body weight, mounted into studs or with anchors rated for grab bars. Towel bars and suction-cup bars are not safe for that and are not used.
Outdoor railings use treated wood or aluminum and are set into posts or the existing steps so they do not wobble. Lever handles replace round knobs without changing the door.
Before you call
- Watch where hands naturally reach when getting in and out of the tub or off the toilet. That is where bars go.
- Count the entry steps without railings.
- Note which doors have round knobs that are hard to grip.
- If it is for a parent, ask what is hardest for them day to day.
